Am I asking to much?
« on: May 01, 2007, 11:14:28 AM »
http://www.sohc4.us/forums/index.php?topic=21187.0

Im curious if im asking to much for my bikes. I came up w/ the price based on what I need to pay so im not sure if its to low or too high. I know none of them are running at the moment but two of them only need the carbs put back together, chain\sprockets and probably tires to be safe. The third could run w/ the parts mention above and the things I mentioned where missing in the post.

Feedback would be much apperciated!

Thanks,

Jesse

With the carb balancer and all the bits and pieces that is a snip. You'll have no problem shifting them.

Seem pretty reasonable.  Except for the 1700 mile haul back to my house. :(

So it appears im providing a pretty good buy but I just happen to be in the wrong part of the country... Maybe I need to look at selling something else then to pay my bills.

It's kind of a lot to ask someone to take the whole lot. Plus, I have to wonder how many SOHC4 crazies are in that neck of the woods...  I'll check with someone in MO upstate more.

 Yeah!

if I were local I'd be over tonight.

Motorcycles up here are lower dollar items, down florida etc, they bring quite a bit more for the exact same bike.
A few years ago, a buddy and I rode from here to fla, on some $200 bikes, bummed around in florida for a couple months, and sold the bikes for more than enough to get the bus home and buy new bikes when we got here.

area is everything, I have a lathe in the garage, I'm thinking of getting rid of, (the other two I'm keeping) same thing is going for $5-600 out west, here I'd be lucky to get scrap value, not sure if it's a glutted market, or if people just don't use them here.

Ken.

I need an e-mail address or a phone number for someone who works in a small dealership in MO.  Connections, baby. ( No promises, though -)
