stock main jet size for CB500K?
« on: May 01, 2007, 07:38:17 AM »
Can someone tell me what size the main jets are for the CB500K? Mine is a '73 model. I will be rejetting to compensate for individual air pods and a 4-1 with no baffle except for inspection time (sorry neighbors  :D)

My tech rejetted his CB750 for the same reasons, and he went from 105 to 120. Does this sound about right? I assume that there are some riders in here that have done the same thing on their 500s.

The stock main jet size is #100, slow jets are #40.
I am about to rejet my 73 500 also, let me know
what you find.
Bikes parked out front mean good chicken-fried steak inside.

The FAQ's have a ton of stuff in them, and they're sometimes easy to forget about.
