body pics

here are some pics. the lower fairing is sagging in the photo. there is a mounting point attached to the engine case that is missing.

as soon as the shift fork arrives, I'll put it in and put the engine back together. after its assembled, I'm gonna coat the juggs  and other engine partsin zip strip and wrap them in layers of saran wrap wire brush and elbow grease before I hit the lower case with aluminium and the juggs with white... :o

header wrap after that; new exhaust gaskets, lower wattage bulb for headlight, new oil gaskets

I like those rear blinkers they look good on there.......lI suppose the last picture is of the worn selector shaft ?? for no fourth gear??

Way to go, hym... gettin' right in there and having at that 4th gear problem!

great looking project! Great '72 500 too! do you have anylarger pics of the 500? i've been tihinkin about getting one of those sport fairings for my 550.
