new bikes with kick arms

Are there new bikes out there with kick arms?  I dont get why bike are not made with them anymore.  I dont know how I would work on my cb550 with out one.

let's see.  No kick starter, less parts, less labor to assemble engine, can stock less replacement parts, etc.  Also, at least for Harley, it was a signal of better reliability.
Now  1972 CB350FX (experimental v2.0)
        1981 CB650c Custom with '79 engine (wifes)
        1981 CB650 engine
        2004 HD XL883C Custom
        1977 Yamaha XS750D (in progress)
Then 1972 CL175
        1964 Yamaha YGS-1T
No ride is a Bad ride

  Electric starter and a move towards alternators instead of generators, which helped make the electrical system more reliable, so no more need for it.
 
 Many makers started providing an installable kick lever under the seat to show how reliable they were, bmw for one, then as Kslrr says, somewhere in the late 70's, early 80's they realized how much money they could save by not installing one.

 I prefer a kickstart, no real reason why, just prefer having them, seems a bike does'nt look right without one.

only dirt bikes that don't have betteries are kickstarted.

i'm not sure about the suzuki drz400sm though..

install a modern dirt bike engine in an old cb350 frame....
