Stripping old gasket material off
« on: May 09, 2007, 08:36:03 AM »
Mainly because I had it lying around left over from the strip of the paint on Sophie's brake bits and pieces, I tried the paint stripper-in-an-aerosol-can to get rid of the vestigies (sp?) of gasket material on the gearbox and cover of the Norton. It worked amazingly well....spray onto a rag (being sure to not get it on yourself or painted areas) rub onto said pieces and then wipe of. Slicker than snot on a doorknob.
