I had a scam this week that went like this. An email arrives..."You have been banned by ebay for misuse blah blah under terms and conditions". Then a highlighted link to log in. It is an easy way to be tricked, but it didn't get me. I've seen a lot of stuff like that before and I report it to ebay, spoof@ebay.com

It never ceases to amaze me at what lengths some people will go to, to dupe others. >:(
As time goes on, we have to be more careful about how we do alot of things, what kind of info
we give out and who we give that info to. It really is getting ridiculous! Where will it end? ???

The auctions title was something like " auction winner gets a day with a wh*re". When I clicked on the auction, it automatically took me to another sign in page that had the URL stating with something other than www.ebay and it looked like an email address with the www.ebay sign in page attached to it. It lloked real.

Was she worth it?   ;D

hey, its understandable. everyone loves a wh*re   ;D
But thence came the Great Schism, when the two like tribes diverged, and the Bobbers did take the Road to Cruiserdom and the Cafe Racers did ride to Sportbikedom and they did pollute the lands along their paths with their abominable spawn of Choppers, Stuntaz and like manner of unholy douchebaggery

Gotta agree with you there EdB!  I remember a while back there were auctions where the person has his gf posing "with" the parts, sorta! It was more of a boob shoot with the part at the bottom of the pic! It was pretty popular but I dont know if it helped sales! ;D

You see you were punshed for your depraved lustful thoughts.  :o Thanks for the warning. I get spoof email from ebay and Paypal. ALWAYS sign drectly onto each site from a browser and never follow a link.

 Doh....
I get so many people wanting me to retract their bid.

As a seller, you can't retract a bidder's bid because you didn't place it, but you can cancel any bid you wish to.  You certainly don't have to if they ask you to, but you are allowed to cancel any bid for any reason you want.
