Shhhhhhhh, wait a minute, I can hear them ;-)

[tiny hijack]Near where I live, there are some giant ant colonies with ant-home-mounds 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 feet high and spaced not very far apart.  There are so many ants that if you stop while you're hiking on a windless day, you can actually hear them.  They sound like a rustling noise.  It's a bit eerie.[/tiny hijack]

In Florida we have Love Bugs. Tiny little black bugs that link to eachother for mating, and fly around like that. They're small, soft, but juicy. Their guts will eat the paint right off he front of a car.

These little #$%*ers are getting worse by the day ! Before they were just all over the bigger trees, and that was it. Now they are flying around everywhere. My truck just took 4 to the windshield on the way back from the gym ! I hate bugs...

Funny how I,m 150 miles to the west of you and have only seen one. That I swept out of the garage and thought was a June bug but it wasn't I think it was dead. Otherwise haven't seen or herd any sign of them .

The area around my house in the burbs is SLAMMED with the little #$%*ers, yet 10 min into the city their isnt a one !
Like I was coming back from the gym and thought "maybe I should take the CB750 out for a ride today ?" By the time I got home I realized it wouldnt be a good idea as you cant see my garage door for the bastards...
