does anyone know of any motorcycle junkyards in the richmond area including up to dc and east to the beach area and west to charlottesville,or south for that matter,even tho i dont think there are any down south.thanks

If you're willing to extend your search to baltimore, there's one there.

I've called and talked to him a few times searching for parts and he's been helpful.  Haven't actually bought anything yet though.

There's Motorcycle Salvage in Newport News.  I picked up some great chrome pieces there a while back and they have a reasonable selection but are not in the electronic ages yet so it takes a while to find whatever they might have.  Who's in a rush anyway?

damn,i plumb forgot about proclass,thanks for that.motorcycle salvage shut down last year,he had some stuff too.i wante to scour for some late model wheels and stuff without doing the ebay thing.thanks for the answers.

The guy you talked to is most likely Dean.  He is as standup a guy as there is and has given me more parts than he has charged me for.  do not hesitate to buy from him.

I'm not sure how it's spelled, but Cycle Recycle ? is in Morganton.  Steves is in Maggie Valley.
