Awesome!  Those bastards messed with the wrong guy.  That could have turned really ugly but the BMW driver kept a level head.

Seems like they need to find something else to occupy their time! ::)  Something constructive, not destructive! :-\ They were lucky and probably don't even realize it! ::)

No offense, but that looks all staged and acted to me.  Just the comments the guys were making, the way they were dressed, etc. was all wrong.  And when you get out of a car for what is probably going to turn into a fight, why are you going to video tape your buddy digging through the back of the truck for a baseball bat.  I'm sure crazy stuff like this can and will happen, but this isn't real in my opinion.

I also thought it was scripted. Specially, because with that BMW, it would have been easier to simply outrun them.

Yea, I kinda wonder it to since at the end the Beemer driver mentions that one is the others son.
Either way it makes a pretty good point.

It's a documentary in the style of Michael Moore, albeit one with slightly less production values.

Some of my thoughts while watching...

"Rednecks can operate a video camera?"
"Rednecks drive new trucks?"
"Rednecks remain facing a gun barrel pointed at them without backing away immediately? Stupidity? Trust?"
"Is the safety still on?"
"A single hand firing stance, no sight alignment?"
"He let them get within two steps of his gun and then looks away form the agressor? Stupidity? Trust?"
"The BMW woman was sure calm and disenfranchised thoughout the incident. Almost like she wasn't at all threatened by aggressors."
"I'd rather watch this than any of Michael Moore's contrivances!"  (And I get the same value for my time spent!)

Cheers,  ;D ;D ;D

I have just come up with conspiracy theory number 6. The guy in the BMW wants to impress the chick -because she is used to ride on Porsches and Ferraris, and the BMW is no match. So he pays those two guys to play the redneck role, and record it with the BMW driver's camcorder. Some women get excited by guns, so when they flee from there the sex at the Motel 6 was great!!!!

Now that makes more sense than anything else!   ;D   If it wasn't for the fact that she got out of the car and walks towards these guys, seemingly unscared, I would buy it for sure!   ;)

Makes you wonder what would happen if you were to drive into redneckcountry with "manlove rules" written in pink letters on the side of your car....

Sad comentary on both sides re: extremism. I'm sure if they were to adorn their vehicles appropriately in any country, they could provoke a similar, or worse, response. There's enough of it in the world today, thanks. :-\

I'm with Bob.  It is sad.  It's also sad because "rednecks" make an easy target.  We can feel better about ourselves because we're not like that at all.  In many places, it can be dangerous to support the wrong sports team.

Yea, I kinda wonder it to since at the end the Beemer driver mentions that one is the others son.
It's one of the hicks who refers to "you and your son just take it easy." Later the other hick says (after it is clear Sasha is a woman), "You and your son might want to watch us play." The BMW driver is yelling at them at the time. He's clearly not the one saying it.

As far as people photographing the guy fetching the bat, I find it entirely believable: people do all sorts of immensely stupid and illegal things and fiilm the entire process. Some even post the results on YouTube and get busted. Also, think of the other clip someone posted here of the bike accident. I'm pretty sure that wasn't staged. People do drive around with camcorders running for no particular reason.

It could have been staged (although, if so, it could have used some serious editing to shorten it), but not necessarily.
If life were fair, I'd be dead.
