oil pressure guage install

so got me one of those slick drag specialties oil pressure guages off ebay. includes galley plug adapter and fiitings.
question:  do I need to use thread sealer or teflon tape or ? on any/all the threads?

I used Teflon tape when I installed mine. Just make sure you use the correct kind, for petro/chem environments. Don't use the kind for simple plumbing applications.

It might just be a matter of personal choice, but I usually use something like PTFE paste if it will be near engine components.  Gasoila brand works great, it never completely sets up but remains flexible to account for heating and cooling of the engine oil.  I'm just not a big fan of tape when it has the chance to come into contact with oil, tiny pieces can make into the system and I've seen it do verrrrrrry bad things to hydraulic pumps  :o
