Tripmeter on my 550 started playing up a few years ago,the rubber sleeve that covers the turning spindle that goes in the side of the speedo.had dissintegrated.I cut a piece of rubber tube to length split it and put it over the spindle glued it back together no more probs.It worked for me good luck.
