Son of a gun, someone posted a link to motorcyclecarbs.com, and in it I found some of the answers to my slide needle question. I have come to the conclusion that when my cabs were rebuilt they put in the wrong needles. Maybe not ,but I could never get it to run right[to rich]. I tried about everything to. I have a new set of slide needles coming,we will see when they get here.
