Does having the shift lever flipped backwards reverse the pattern? Wonder if I could reach mine turned backwards using the passenger pegs as footrests?

Yup, the pattern will be reversed.

The exhaust is a Yoshimura. Big money nowadays.

Heres an early Yosh hand-bent pipe on my K2; same pipe on my current project. Can you believe those sexy curves? The noise this thing makes is an absolute 10

Good information, Andy.  I ran across a similar set in a boneyard recently and I wondered if they could have been early Yoshimura pipes.  They were definately hand-bent!  The meg seemed to have had an insert installed to somewhat quieten it for the street.  Sure would like to have a chance to see a vintage Yoshi catalog so I could learn more about these pipes.  Thirty years was a long time ago.  At least to some of us Olpharts!    RR
