Didn't Cr750 Sam mention adding additional breather tubes on the #2 and #3 intake tappet covers? Seems like one could drill and attach a brass hose fitting without too much difficulty. . . . On my 836 I currently run a single hose to the stock (78750) separator and then to a crankcase filter hidden at the back of bike. A bit less stinky this way then having the filter right on the back of the valve cover. I do wonder however if all the length of hose and the separator reduce the breathers ability to function. The 836 engine does seem to have a good bit of crankcase pressure. Using the stock airbox and routing the gases back into the intake would obviously remove the stinky fumes but it also might help to releave pressure as the airbox creates at least something of a vacuum. . . . Since I have a few extra tappet covers I might try the hose barb idea on them.
