Newbie from NC

Hey Guys (and Gals)!

Great forum!

I started out in 1975 riding British (850 Commando) then spent most of the next twenty or so years owning those American made oil leakers. Recently I got a chance to ride a new age 750 SOHC custom Bobber and I was immediately hooked! I'm now in the beginning stages of a custom build of a 1974 CB750 so, I'm quite sure, I'll be reading a lot here to solve any problems along the way.

Let me say thank you to y'all in advance!  ;)

Welcome to the group. How a pic of the bike? Make sure you post some as you progress through the project.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Well thanks for the warm welcome and encouragement!
Not sure how "classic" she'll be after I'm done though?  ??? ;)
Right now we're in the dismantling stage. Frame's stripped bare and the engine is torn down for re-build.

While awaiting engine parts I'll be firing up the plasma cutter and tig welder!

My game plan is to stretch the frame by moving the rear wheel back, lower the overall profile of the bike
and actually move the neck back in the frame (towards the rider) and rake the front wheel out using 6" over front tubes.
Custom exhaust, seat and sheet metal.

I'll try to get some digital pics ASAP!
