Okay maybe I don't know what I thought I did  1978 runs hard as hell 110mph today by the speedo problem is after the bike sits for awhile a few hours it's hard as hell to start even choked it doesnt sound like it's getting fuel for a bit and then just before the battery dies it fires off and goes doesn't idle well but runs down the road just fine please one of you carb gurus gotta have an answere for me thank you

shouldn't have to use the choke after sitting a couple of hours.  Especialy if you ran it that hard.

What bike do you have?
What changes from stock have been made?
When was the last complete and thorough tune-up?
What is your battery voltage?
What is your voltage at the coils?

cb750 k 1978 it has 4 into 2 exhaust battery voltage is fine coil voltage unknown it's gotta be carbs the 1978 that came out of the bike started right away but was running older style 73 carbs my fuel milage kicked ass it ran great is it possible that I am running too lean
