Diamond in the rough!

I took the air box off of my 1978CB750K8 to find that the PO had tightened the bolts that hold the air box together so hard that he had stripped out the bottom of the box, so the bolt just tuned. Went out and bought the dremel, slotted the bolt so i could use a screw driver.

The Dremel is AWSOME! ;D

Got the box open and what did i find? A brand new K$N air filter!!! Unoiled of course but...

Now this bike had some redneck engineering on it so i expected a few pairs of old skivies wadded up in the filter box or maybe a stained wife beater but no...the proper K$N OEM style replacement filter.

I had that same thing happen on my airbox from the PO. People seem to think they need to crank like hell on those bolts.
