I have a 78 cb750 and was wondering if a 75 airbox would work.

Well I can say for sure, but I dont thing there were any major changes in airbox design between those years. They look the same and I think use the same air filter.

try to bolt it on. Make sure all of your hoses that are suppose to run to the air box do.

The airbox will fit but the rubber "trumpets" that fit to the carbs are a different size, at least on the F models. Not sure about K models

The 1977 & 1978 carbs have a bigger diameter where the airbox goes on the carbs.  I put 75 carbs on my 77 and had to get an older airbox.  I have the complete setup from the conversion.  I was going to put the parts on ebay.  Let me know if you want some of the 77 parts.

you will need to pick up the rubber  stacks that go from carb to box where as they are bigger on the 77 78 now  my younger brother went the other way and the bigger stack slide on easier and do tighten up enough good luck  Craig
