Changing spark plug wires 76 750F?

OK, I have a small box of parts that I ordered while rebuilding my bike. I figured last night I should put the new spark plug wires onto the coils.
Well, that didn't quite go as planned. The first wire on try to unscrew out of the coil spins, and comes out. I look in the hole and it appears not all of it came out. a small pick and screwdriver cannot seem to get it out as well.
The second wire I try, comes out perfect.
the 3rd doesnt want to come out at all, but spins freely. A little more pulling and it breaks flush.
The last did not want to come out, after a little pulling, the casing all comes out, the wires dont.

It seems as though parts of the wires themselves became one with coil housing. So, now it looks like I get to find another set of coils, unless someone has any clever tricks to get this stuff out?

Have a look in the "Ignition & Plugs" FAQ.  There's a write-up by someone who replaced the wires in his stock coils.  Or you could buy a set of new aftermarket coils for about $70, or more if you feel like it.

Thanks for the link.

I actually sold my GS-T last year. I was running 21PSI on a ported 16G w/FMIC and a bunch of other crap.
I got rid of wheel hop with a set of energy suspension motor mount inserts.

Nice, I used to autocross in 96-01 and I new my car in and out unfortunatly.
I had one of those crankwalkin' sons of b!tches.  That would be fine and all but that #$%* happened twice.  thats when I switched to a 6bolt bottom and sold the bastard!  I loved the car though, fun as hell and fast as sh!t!
