New from New York

Hi my names Shane and I have 2 cb750's. One is a 1970 K0 that I inherited from my grandpa, the other is a 1973 K3 I bought for $300 for a parts bike(it might change).
A little about my bikes: The 1970 was purchased in Japan by a guy in the service, he rode it around and then brought it back to the US. My grandpa bought it and rode it for a few years then parked it in a building. A few years before he died we dragged it out and started working on it. This bike has been through hell and back. It was almost in a drug raid(not me) and it has been through a large flood. But now its running again and I enjoy riding it when its not breaking down.
The 1973 was purchased by me as a parts bike. I got interested in turning it into a cafe racer. So I spoked a wider 16" Harley rim onto the polished Honda hub. Thats about as far as its gotten, other then that I ripped off all the garbage that someone tacked on to make it into some kind of cruiser wannabe. I hope to learn enough to make this into a real rocket since Im going to college for "Powersports Performance and Repair". they have a dyno, a flowbench and a huge machine shop in the next class over. So Ill have a few tools at my disposal. Thanks everyone, I hope to learn alot here.

Welcome from Westchester County
Dedicated to Sgt. Howard Bruckner 1950 - 1969. KIA LONG KHANH.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?
