The Thing "sidecar"

As requested a bit about it (gallery Progress of my sidecar)

I have raced a Norton side car for 2 years ith my old man when a mate said he had one well a chassie in his yard. this is the first pic in the gallery.

Apparently was built for circuit racing in 1972 and has been stood since about 1976

After a load of phone calls i traced the original engine and bought it.

Now a year later i have just got it running again after the engine had been stood for about 25 years.

I hope to get it on the road for next feb to go to a local rally but it will be a bit tight timing wise.

Engine has 5mm shorter rods cb350 pistons stage 2 cam polished poted head carbs opend out to 31mm and loadt of fiddley bits.

Yes we in england do build strange things

Oh am currently working on a more normal CB750 project which i think is going to be a cafe racer look when finished.
