cb500t flasher relay
« on: May 21, 2007, 05:02:38 PM »
The brown cow is running and looking like new, but flashers don't flash. Light but no blink. Haynes says the flasher unit is behind the gray junction cover under the tank, appears to have been removed and wired together. Can anyone pop their cover and see what's back there?

Hi
This may be of some help , there is a site by a company called JT MOTORSPORTS AND RACING there site lists parts and the part nubers by model for bikes,
under the one for the 500t the battery section shows the flasher relay in this area it looks like it has two wires. if you find this site it may help you.
A friend at work has just brought a 500t , but i dont think has joined our club yet but may be able to help if i find out more i will let you know.

Regards Dave

ps PLEASE POST SOME MORE PICS OF THE BROWN COW

Not sure if this will help or not, but on my wife's 400t, the stock flasher relay was a little rectangular thing on the rear side of the electrics group. I replaced it with a round one I bought at wal*mart.
