hey guys.yes i am a newbie.(oh well)
i have just purchased a 1977 cb750a.yes no power and ugly as my mother-in-law.
i got this bike because it was cheap.dirt cheap $200.i added a new battery and sprayed the carbs, dadgumit
the ugly beast started.
this is going to be second chopper build.i just finished a 81 maxim 750 that was my training ground.i made alot of mistakes on the first that i had to redo, but i hope i learned something on this one.
my intentions are to build a one off frame.make an inverted springer frontend and fabricate my first custom tank.
i am going with a 200 rear tire and homemade oil tank.all parts will be made in my garage.first attempt at a complete custom.

wish me luck i am off to strip the ugly thing down.(i'll post pics as i go)

Post pics!  It will be interesting to hear about you making a springer...choppers are cool!  Not always fun to ride, but cool!
Welcome, you're not the only noob!(mee too!)
