Hello from south-central Kansas!!
« on: March 20, 2007, 08:52:09 PM »
How ya doin' fellow Honda lovers?  My name's Rob and I FINALLY got the CB750 K2 that I've been after for about 2 years now.  The agreement with the wife was that I give up smoking (cigars) and I could get a bike.  The bike is in the garage (had it running an hour after I got it home ;D ) and I feel great.  Not sure if its from actually having a bike or not smoking, doesn't really make any difference.

Now comes the rebuild-restore-ride part, and it's usually good to have more than one point of view on a subject, so here I am!

Congrats... Youve added 10 years to your ridin career. Now think of all the money you can spend on the K, or the wife if she reading this with ya...

Thanks guys ;D  Heffay, I'm in Medicine Lodge (Home of the Peace Treaty Pageant), about an hour and a half southwest of Hutch, down here in the Gyp Hills.

Swapping addictions is the only way to do it.  I keep women, booze, motorcycles and cigarettes on a constant cycle to stay balanced and well rounded.

Welcome..it's nice to see more Kansans.. I rode down to medicine lodge from here in Wichita last year. Nice ride. We ate in Sun City at a little bar...can't remember the name, but had a great burger. If you ever come to Wichita, look me up.

Hey Jonsey, just now noticed your post, the little place in Sun City is Busters.  Since ridin' season is here, they have a biker breakfast on the last Sunday of the month.  If it would ever let up with the rain I'd try to make it there :D

The Sun City breakfast isn't as big as Cassoday by any means, (they call Cassoday "Little Sturgis")  but everyone says its pretty fun.  Then after breakfast you can check out the bikes, hang out until noon and you can go into Busters and have ribs and a frosty fishbowl of your favorite brew ;)

Welcome from Oklahoma!
Well, at the price of cigarettes, I know cigars had to be more expensive!  Think of all the cool stuff you could buy for your bike!
