can anyone identify these pipes?

I want to bid on these but have not recieved a reply from the seller. can anyone tell if they are off a single or dual overhead cam 650? If so, how can you tell?

I think the nighthawks were DOHC.

Considering the DOHC engine in the back of the shot I would guess they are for that
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

they look very similar to the 4 into 4 pipes on the 1081 CB650 Custom that I am parting out, but I'm not certain.............Chris

they do look like a '81cb650c's exhaust.

just played with one a few days ago, and it all looks identical as far as i can tell without viewing the pipes in person.

Yes, all of the Nighthawks were DOHC.
1982 cb650sc(nighthawk) was sohc the 82 was the last of our beloved sohc/4's :-\ in the 650 whitch was lasy engine to be sohc/4

Just got a reply, they are off a 1982 cb650 nighthawk with a single overhead cam. It looks like the early nighthawks were singles.

if look in your clymer cb650 shop manual it has the 82 night hawk as sohc
looked it up exhaust is same only real dif is the 82 carbs have removable slow jets and the choke is a thumb switch, not a pull rod.
