What's the story with the pit stops then?  Can't they last 6 laps without fuel? and how come it takes 40-odd seconds??

Hi Phil, to be the oldest, you have to still be alive  the Bexhill races only lived for 23 years unlike the TT and Brighton Speed Trials.
However, good bit of reserching on your part, buy yourself a drink on me as a consolation prize
