a couple of easy questions re: 1973 CB500

I don't have an owner's manual for the CB500K2. What is the standard tire size I will need (front and rear). The bike isn't in my garage at the moment, so I am asking here!

Next question:

What are some quality reasonably priced tire brands? I know I don't want to skimp or budget when it comes to tires, but I don't have deep pockets either.

As always, many thanks

look at specs at 500 link from home page

as for tires, also use the link at the home page. I'm looking at dunlop, pirelli, and IRC. I have a set of cheng shin on now that are wearing quickly after only one  full season of riding-I'd avoid the tires at this end of the spectrum.

Thx Hym

After posting my Qs, I saw the "impending tire purchase" thread, and I learned a lot reading what was posted over there.

I know Kenda tires are perceived to be "cheap" by a lot of people.

That being said, I just got a K657 on the rear about 120 miles ago and I LOVE it. SOOOOOO much more traction than the Ching Shin C822 that was on there before from the PO. I haven't had a ride in the rain yet, so I can't really report as to the wet traction. The 120/19/19 looks good on the back of my 550 to boot. The tire cost me ~$50 with my employee discount, so think ~$70 retail + install and balance.
