Canadian repair shop?
« on: December 13, 2007, 05:17:32 PM »
I need to have my CB750 valve guides replaced, then the valve seats re-cut. Preferably machine cut, not with a hand cutter.
Does anyone know a good shop preferably near Montreal, or Toronto. I can ship elsewhere

There's a really good shop in Thedford Mines, PQ. They are huge and do a lot of work for shops all over the country. Quick turnaround.  I don't have the name here tonight but can get it for you.

David - looks like you found a shop in PQ, but if you're looking for somewhere in the GTA I can recommend both Concepts on Wheels up in the north east area and Gord Bush Performance in the west end.  I've had work done at both shops.

According to the Thetford mines website, they want around 150.00 to simply cut the valve seats.
The Motorcycle store are asking 550-600 including valve guides!!!!
My local guy wants 250 to do the seats with a hand cutter.
