Cliff, I read to the bottom of the pic then wondered how long the post was :o :o :o :o

That was am intersting read, keeping in mind that it is only about one man...   What and who else has the bikes we so desire, stashed out there???

But I have come across many low milers that I have resurected and/or restored back to life, just have not come across that hidden 850 Commando yet.

I think there a a lot of these people and machines out there

My fathers cousin had a riley 1.5, he bought from new and cherished it, he was very well known in the owners club as the car was concours. in the late 80's he had a small accident in it. He was absolutely devastated and died within weeks. his wife couldnt drive, and as far as my Dad and I know the car is still in her garage.

I've come across that Commando. Perfect 73 850 in red. I've been working on the guy for a while and am confident I will eventually get it.
Same story as my 71 Triumph Trophy, took me almost 12 years working on that guy to get it out of his barn but finally got it. I'm patient.
