1976 750F rear brake pad clip
« on: May 29, 2007, 12:25:03 PM »
OK, putting my bike back together... the rear brake pad slider clip broke. Honda dealer says it has been discontinued. this is the part that attaches to  the 2 slider/locator pins for the rear brake assembly and keeps the pins from randomly falling out.

Anybody have any ideas what else to use? I am sure I could make something and I guess I was in store for that working on a bike 31 years old ;)

Thanks,
-Chris

I think there was an extra one in the 'trunk' of the 76 F I picked up a couple weeks ago, if it's there and good, I'll let you know
You can have it for postage.

The last Honda rear brake pad set I bought for my '75 750F (same brake as yours) a couple of years ago included the clip.
