I'm BACK! SOHC/4 #176
« on: May 31, 2007, 04:34:48 PM »
I was very active with the listserv until several years ago when I relocated and got busy with other things.  I had the opportunity to visit with John Soliday (SOHC/4 #1) back then as well as Glenn in the DC area.  I am impressed with the changes int the site and the forums.  I continue to restore and ride my 1975 CB750F which I purchased as salvage in Durham NC in 1993.  Hope to learn more about the new site, etc.

Welcome back!
Be sure to post some pics of your ride and feel free to join in the fun!
There are old bikers and there are bold bikers but there are very few old, bold bikers.

Not doing what you can to make your bike ride-able during the best riding months of the year kind of defeats the purpose of owning it in the first place.

I barely made it into the old greenspuns. It was like a week and then they were gone. Then a new site started and I was one of the first hundred or so and then something happened with the host I think and now we have this site. It has grown a lot.

Always nice to have some of the originals around.

I am #177. I can't seem to find anybody eleses number. The site used to list members in state groups with numbers, back in the 1990's.

The site is much better now, that is true.

Thanks for the replies!  I'll have to take some pics and upload them.  My bike remains in outstanding shape.  I just found a NOS dyno cover to replace the beat up one with an aftermarket finned cover.  I also rebuilt the back end to include removing the swingarm and refinishing everything.  At some point, I need to remove the exhaust and bead blast the flanges.  It's great to have "rediscovered" the site.

Welcome back from member #2864!  I was around for the last couple of years of the Greenspun forum, and it was definitely nice, but this one is a whole different beast! ;D
