The part number was whatever was listed at the dealer on their fiche. It cost about $50 and came with the filter. May have been a 16950-461-771 as listed at www.crotchrocket.com under 1981, cb650c, fuel tank. The filter alone is $30 to buy seperate so your only paying $20 for the petcock. Too bad it isn't available seperate. By the way, saw your build thread, looks good. I will have to get around to posting mine. I do have a used spare petcock without the filter, you can have it if you want it, just taking up room in my toolbox. You would be better off getting the new one with the filter and be done with it. -Dave
does the spare work proper? i am having a custom adapter made to fit a high flow chrome harley style petcocke to tank, but the shop been very busy so just need some thing till its ready the old one fell apart when cleaning tank :o

Works as far as I can tell. Never rode with it. does not leak and holds back fuel so.... Anyways, why do you need a high flow?, the OEM works fine IMO.
just want the chrome  realy it can be run as high flow or normal since we have cv carbs will be same no matter how run it.
