I was thinking of modifying the stock aluminum brackets where the pegs are mounted, to a similar position as the raask set up.
Check out where the pegs are located on their plates.

Now check out our stockers the hole where the pegs go are all the way in the front. (to the right in the pic.)  As long as this spot where the pegs hole would be doesn't hit a structural rib on the back side, we should be in good shape.  Some kind of backing plate would be needed though.  and we would definetly need to change the controls , I'm guessing some kind of newer gear with adjustable legs would work well.

I wish we had more options other than raask and tarozzi............. Cheaper options! ;D
Let me know if you come up with other options.
Peace,

I've heard of some people using newer sport bike rearsets, ones with the master cylinder attached, and just making some mounting modifications, but i have yet to see any good pics and descriptions of the process ( hint hint ).....

The Raask Right hand plate is used in conjunction with the standard Honda mounting plate (the word ugly doesn't come close), I used the left hand plate and drilled a hole in the right hand Honda plate for the footrest and modded the brake arm. it's imposable to get the right hand footrest to match the postion of the left one though, and this was a work in progress before the end of the bikes life.

If you have a single seat bike I would use some later model footrests, have a plate made with 2 holes to mount though the bottom engine mount and swinging arm bolt and mounting holes for the later footrests ( have lot's of holes in a square patten so you can get perfect postion). This way you don't have to mod the frame. If you live in the UK if you have a duel seat fitted you must have rear foots rests or it will not pass it's MOT. Is this the same in the USA ?.

I assume MOT is a "safety inspection."  This varies from state to state in the U.S.  I live in Kansas, where there is no safety inspections at all.  The only "inspection" we have to do is have the VIN checked to see if it is stolen, and then only if it is an out of state bike or one that had no title and this is part of the (in Kansas, very simple and inexpensive) process of obtaining a new title.  Inspections for vehicle safety are the job of our Police officers.  If they see something the suspect is unsafe they can stop and ticket the driver or impound the vehicle in extreme cases. This rarely happens.

I just installed a set on my 78 ,750 super sport . The set you are looking at is for a 78' the secret is you leave the right side original brake pedal and foot rest hardware on the bike and remove the left side footrest holder. The swing arm bolt will not get in the way of install.  In your picture I think you have the engine mount bolt in the wrong hole that is where the swing arm bolt goes. If you would like pictures of the finished install I will post them.
