Wing is limping on 2

Hey All,
Going over to a friends and about half way there it started running on 2 cylinders. I'll be updateing soon. Going to get a battery for the 750 I need to get it on the road.

If its early one could be points, could be coil as its basically same as 750 or if you have REALLY bad Karma have you bust a belt?
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

No broken belt. It would of bound up.
just got out the test light. White wire nothing no light turn engine over and then bright light. Put test light to black wire and test light is dimm then turn engine over with kick starter and it brightens up then stay's on but dimm's back down abit, but stays on the complete rotation.

Fraid it sounds like it might be. Was it wing specific as they run different coils with a ballast resistor

yes it is the one for the wing. I have a dyna III lying around I'll try that.

swapped wires from the unit and the no spark followed to 3 & 4  It look's to be the unit.
