Another Honda nut from OZ.
« on: June 07, 2007, 05:28:37 AM »
Hi everyone,Ive been lurking around for a little while and have really found a lot of great info on this site,so thought I'd better join in.I have a fairly original K6 with about 35000KM on the clock that is starting to suffer the usual oil leaks and cosmetic wear and tear. After talking myself out of doing the financially responsible  ::) thing and sell the bike I've now talked myself (and more importantly my wife) into keeping the beast and restoring/improving her back to its former glory.I havent run it for a while now,but its been stored indoors and with a little luck I should start work on her in about 2 or 3 months, after I finish renovating our house (for some strange reason my wife considers this to have priority over the 750...go figure :-X).Cheers guys,Steve

Bob from Wichita

I just recently got a 71 500 on the road after 2 months of fixing this & thats. I am still working the bugs out. But, this site is very handy for answering your questions, it helped me. If you are close and need a second pair of hands drop a line.
I wish I had a cool on screen name.
I do ride a cool 1971 cb500
