Yup, it'd be kph, but that would still work out to about 90 MPH, right?  That'd make a relatively combined 140 MPH impact with an oncoming vehicle coming on at 50 MPH.  I am saddened for all the young suckers out there who spend their weekends like this.  If you watch his speedo, he did try to keep up with the nitwit ahead of him.

This is why you NEVER try to "keep up" and why you damn sure never use the whole road. I once got talked into going for a ride with a coworker and his friends and they were doing all that crap. Using the opposing lane I mean. And when we stopped they were all giving me #$%* for not doing the same. Idiots. Never rode with them again.
