Topic: 1970 CB750 gas tank trim

I will be having my tank for the 1970 CB750 repainted to OEM colors and stripe.  Any idea where I can get the original bottom chrome plastic trim.  The 1970 did not have the black stripe on the trim, only chrome.

You can try here, they have it, but not cheap though. I looked forever and never found it anywhere else.

Thanks Bob.  That one has the black stripe and my 1970 only had the plastic chrome with no stripe.  But I may have to take that one.

Somehow I took you to the wrong page. Go back to that site and click on "Tank & Seat" on the left. Then scroll down, the third row of picks includes one of both the K1-K4 trim which has the stripe, but also the K0 which has no stripe.

Well, I contacted Yamiya and they said the gas tank trim for the KO is not available.  Heck, it was $80 for the pair of plastic chrome stipes for my KO.  Man, must be some real nice stuff.     I did a search on Yahoo under motorcycle gas tank trim and came up with a site that may have potential.  If you have any other trim you used and like please let me know.
