I just got done baking my cylinder block in the oven and, believe me, the "little woman" is P.O.'d!
they just have no sense of humor when it comes to these things.
The instructions on the paint can was to let it air dry for 24 to 48 hours and then bake it for 1 hour minimum at 200 deg. F.
I went for 1.5 hours. Funny thing is that it didn't really start to smell until 45 minutes or so into the process! Bot after that the VOC's really started to release from the finish and smell up the whole kitchen!
I guess the whole point to this post is to let everyone know to turn on the fan and open the windows before doing this!
Hot Hemi Orange just doesn't smell good.
Tomorrow night I'll bake the lower forks! (She's working late tomorrow)
