Now I know why my "sell your car" comment was ignored.  Tell us more about the Bel Air!

The car is a 1955 Chevrolet Bel-Air Hardtop, and is an original, factory ordered V8 Bel-Air (not some cheap clone)..
Car now has a very very very tame small block 350 with a 3 speed automatic trans (the perfect cruiser setup).
The thing makes no power - but can cruise at 70mph on the tollway all day long without skipping a beat. Since I have owned it I have lowerd it, installed a complete MSD igintion, and other little things here and their. Eventually I am gonna drop a ZZ430 GM crate motor in it, and then throw a Procharger on top of that. The goal is to have 600hp on pump gas with the car looking EXACTLY how it does now. With a nice new motor and about 12 lbs. of boost I should be able to make my goal without a problem.

This is the car (and in the color) I have always wanted, so I  dont see this ride ever leaving my fleet

OK, I know I nominated it, but nobody vote for it

That way it's value will plummet and he'ill be happy to give it to me, just to get it off his hands

I am asking $3,500 for the 750 , which I think is more than fair.
Whatever I end up getting for the bike is going straight into my Bel-Air towards a new crate motor.
Then I am gonna ride the CB450, and either get a HD Bagger (Road King Classic) Or something else come spring..

It would cost me half that again in shipping and import duty

That Bel-Air is a sweet ride

The father of one of my ex-girlfriends had one, with the bottom half in red, his had a V8 with 4 speed stick shift.  He's running round in a '59 Vette now, black with ivory scallops

It really pisses his daughter (and my wife) off that we both still keep in touch

Chris, shipping a CB750 to Southampton from NY is $700 and import duty 100 pounds. Not so much ;-)
