I can remember the scene well.  He starts the engine and the camera does a slow pan from the front, down the right side to the rear, puffs of smoke coming out of the 4-2 pipes.  Before he takes off, there is a close up of the rear brake that has been sabotaged.  Cool camera work.

I can omly remember Kelly McGillis' 356 Speedster 8) Were there any other cars?
