I don't recall anyone mentioning maturity levels, but even so, I don't think we could judge that from this poll.  From my experience, I don't think maturity age and chronological age can go hand in hand.  I'm 41, but if I was to guess my maturity age, I would guess more around 30... or maybe lower.   ;)  I'm sure there are 30 year olds out there that act 40 or older.

Well said :)

In fact the point you are making is evidenced quite well within my own group of friends. I'm 36 according to my passport, but I don't feel I've ever really passed my early 20's in my head ;D
Conversely a very good friend of mine who's only just celebrated his 30th birthday has been 50 years old since the day he was born ::)
I have another friend rapidly approaching his 50th birthday who, judging by his awesome collection of 'big boy's toys', could quite easily be said (by those who don't know him) to be well into his second childhood 8)  Those of us who know him though, know that he's never really left the first one behind ;D

6/75, just turned 32.  Got my 1973 Cb 750 when I turned 15, and began to beat the piss out of her.  I was not one for preventative maintenance or anything.  I beat on her for around 10,000 miles without any upkeep, then let her sit in the back of my garage when I purchase my Ninja.  I picked up my Hellcat and lost even more interest.  I have alway loved old bikes but wanted something a bit different than everyone elses (thought I could do it on the cheap also).  I am $6,000 to $7,000 into the project and still have to put her together (actually that is a guess as I think the number is much higher).  The way I look at it, I will sink quite a bit of money into her, but then I will have a bike no one else has and it will last for another 34 years..........................................

The bike and I were born in the same year.  Part of the reason I wanted a 1972 CB750.

I'll ride a cafe' style bike until I am too old to twist the throttle, then I'll get a pedal. ;D

Long live our backs!

Born May 25,1948. I'm 59 and looking at a couple of different bikes now to start a cafe project. I'm not into to much speed any more but I love the look.

This is my first poll, so I hope I set it up correctly.

I was curious as to the age of cafe bike owners, so if you currently own, are creating or even planning a cafe bike, what is your current age range?  I'm curious to see if this is only a younger generation thing or if it is spread throughout the age range.

Thanks for participating in this socio-logical experiment!   ;D

Well, I'm 53 and wondering why it's just supposed to be the "young guys" that allowed to have all the fun?  >:( Just kidding of course.  The cafe' is my favorite ride, but I do enjoy the stocker too.
