New from Texas
« on: June 15, 2007, 01:26:13 PM »
Hey all. I am from East Texas. I worked in Honda Shops in parts dept. in the Houston Texas area from '69 till about '74. I had about 5 stock CB750 SOHC and 2 Amen Rigid frame CB 750's. I am now in the process of rebuilding a"rat" CB750 rigid that I just bought. Only thing holding me back is I work offshore and have been home only 1 week in the past 9. Wife has "honey do" projects also if I plan on remaining in the house I am in now. LOL     ::)

The good thing about the bikes is that they can be 'shelved' indefinately until such time as you get time to work on them.

Just make sure you tidy up the bits and pieces each time you're done, otherwise you may come home to a "Honey, I found this thing that looked like scrap on the garage floor, so I threw it away." And there disappears your swing arm spindle.....
