xenon (h.i.d.) light conversion

Sorry, forgot another thing.  Is there a xenon/h.i.d. headlight conversion available for a '71 cb750?  Know any junkyard swaps or aftermarket dealers that offer this?

Well if you can find an h4 conversion, you should be able to use a zenon h4 bulb. It all depends on the wattage you use.

a tip-top idea. there a heap of new products out there for HID lamps. lots of $$$ though. HID uses a ballast setup, so you have to find a spot for that. the wiring is the same as using a relay to switch your headlight. but a 30yr old bike with a death ray headlight is very cool!!!!
remember the rule of wiring........if it looks good (neat and tidy) it is good. just have to know what you are looking at.  ;)

Keep in mind that an H4 HID setup will only have a low beam (H4 bulbs are dual filament.)
Some newer 'bi-xenon" setups have a small solenoid that moves the bulb in and out to give you both high and low beams but are expensive and will most likely not fit in the headlight bucket due to their increased length
