Topic: Honda gurus, I have questions.

I have a CB650SC/parts bike, and I was wondering if the frame of the parts bike would accept other engine/trans combos. If the shaft/swing arm is interchangable w/ one from a chain drive bike, and the engine mounts are the same, I think I'd like to cobble together a frankenbike provided I can pick up the parts for cheap.

Yup. The swing arm can be pulled, and it looks like all of the shaft hardware is either attached to the crankcase/trans, or the swing arm. I wanna say I could bolt a non shaft swing arm, but that's just a guess. I can post pictures of the frame mounting points/swing arm if they'll help.
