.. Rent a house, get a bike!
We went out to Perris CA yesturday and finalized the rental of a house on 1 acre. We found out that the previous tenant had left behind a motorcycle. Must have been sitting outside for close to a year. The rental agent said "go ahead and take it". It is a Yamaha 750 DOHC triple with shaft drive. I could not tell from the ID plate what year it was, neither could I remember when these were made. It is dirty with desert dust but it only has 8,250 miles and the engine feels like it has good compression. No keys, brakes don't work, most controls (cable and electrical) frozen. Could be an interesting project (now I have 3 project bikes
) and be a nice sidecar setup.
Once we move and are somewhat settled, I will post pics.
