Stop touting for votes Joe, had you cleaned and polished it before hand, you might have stood a chance ;D ;D ;D ;D

Only jesting :D :D :D

Sam. ;)

...and look at all the rags he used hanging on the clothesline in the background.  He must have been at it for days!!!   ;)

At least he took his off the bike.... ummmm BOB!   ;D
I knew I was gonna get some crap about the clothesline in the background.
For the record it isnt mine, but belongs to a very "euro" couple who lives behind me..  ;D

Here's a recent pic I took today of the CB750 --->

I don't know, Joe. I think I liked the Line-Xed tank better. Sweet looking ride either way, don't get me wrong, but I understand your reason to get ride of it.

My Vote has been cast. Once again... I voted for the CB...  ;)

The Line-X tank was cool in it's own way, but It kinda became the focal point of the bike. And with all the other things the bike had going it just didnt work out. Believe me if I do a simple rat/cafe bike in the future the tank (& headlite bucket) will def. get Line-Xed 4 sure... ;D

This was neck and neck from day one!

I think we should have a shoot out for the title.

Suggestions:

1. The 18th at Augusta (OK, maybe not)
2. First down the 1/4 at Santa Pod (Sam would probably win)
3. Who has invested most time and $$$ (debatable here)

Any more?

I'm glad it's neck and neck as I really couldn't decide between Bob's and Sam's. In the end I went for the cafe as they always attact my attention - but that doesn't take anything away from Bob's fantastic stocker.

Well done both of you!!

I certainly appreciate the votes for my K0. I've always been fascinated with the racers though. The RC166 for instance. I would love to see a photo of the engine with the head off so I could peek at the valves and those 6 cylinders that add up to a wopping 250cc's. As for the CR750, I seem to recall Honda actually marketed a limited number of 'kits' to convert the stock 750 to the CR. After spending (at the time), what, about $1500 for the stocker, you could shell out another $9-$10,000 :o for the kit. This meant you either a serious racer or a wannabe with deep pockets.

Anyway, always felt the Honda racers had a very purposeful look about them. ;)

I agree, nothing wrong with two winners.  In fact, there are so many nice bikes here, it's almost a shame to even have to pick one over the others.  That's why I have no problem with the same bikes being nominated over and over because there are too many to choose from.

Congrats Sam and Bob!

A great big thanks guys, with half the UK flooded and the other half being blown up by terrorist it's nice to hear some good news ;D

As most of you know I don't own the Bike, I built it and help Chris with the maintenance of it. I have probably put about $3000 of my own money into the project to help Chris out as he had some financial problems last year, not of his own fault.
The sad news is that he is selling the CR at the end of this season to concentrate on his AC Cobra that he bought a couple of years ago. Had I known this was going to happen, I would have spent the money on my own bikes, that's people for you. >:(

Regards Sam. ;)

That's pretty hard to take Sam.  AC Cobra?  Pah! (imagine Rowan Atkinson with his nose in the air...)

BTW. Your spelling's crap.  You should use the spellcheck.  8)
