How much oil?
« on: June 18, 2007, 01:06:33 PM »
I'm seeing confilcting accounts for the oil capacity of my 750 k3, if I drain both the engine and oil tank, how much do I need to put in? Thanks.

Thanks a million. I'll make sure to ask for that at the Honda dealer.

No problem! ;D

Seriously, though.  Just buy a gallon and you'll have a little to spare for top-ups.

Would that be mineral oil or synthetic?

As bad as I wanna be... ;D ;D ;D

The book says to add 3 qts after draining, run the bike and top up to the fill line on the dipstick.

While it looks like a smart a$$ response, it's true. Since the 750 is a dry-sump system, just fill it until it's full.
