1976 goldwing parts bike for $250...worth it?
« on: June 20, 2007, 11:54:51 AM »
A guy just contacted me and he has a '76 goldwing parts bike nearly complete and he is "hoping to get $250" for it. I know little about the bike, but I have seen some pics. I assume the engine needs to be overhauled, but the bike looks in pretty good order otherwise.

What do you think? Is that a good price for an old collectible parts bike like a second year goldwing?

Depends on how much of the original stuff is left. 'Nearly complete' could mean that all of the cosmetic stuff is gone or not useable.

If it is mostly there, original, and in not-too-bad condition, AND if you have the time to part it out, you'll easily get your money back.
