Bought 4 bikes today

Met a guy at the hardware store several months ago looking for bolts. Got to talking about old bikes and he said "I have some old bikes and parts, are you interested? I am 78 yrs old and will never do anything with them"  Finally went today to look at them. A 1966 Suzuki x6 (about a 4), 2 50 cc cubs (5-6) and 1 66 Honda S90 Benly (another 5). Said he wanted $300 for the whole bunch. After I said ok, he said he had some extra parts he would throw in the deal. Eight boxes (half a small pickup load) full of mostly NOS s90 and Suzuki x6 still in original bags. Brought the parts home but have to go after the bikes. Overall, a good day!

           Way to go there grumburg!! ;) I had some run-ins with an X-6 Hustler, back in the late 60's and that sucker would scream (compared to my CB72 250 Hawk, anyway )! :o Lots Of Luck with that batch.
Cool deal! 8) Only thing I get in a hardware store is people getting in my way, when I'm trying to get some things to take care of a problem at home! >:( ::) Good for you though! ;)

Anyone know what's the difference between a Super 90 and a Super 90 Benly?

No ebay.Part of the deal was they would be restored, not parted out. I've got no problem with that. Went this morning to pickup the bikes, and he gave me 3 more boxes of parts, mostly NOS. A set of s90 fenders, 2 seats (both with unopened tool kits), sprockets, a ring and gasket set for the x6, and 2 new mufflers (one cub and 1 s90). I know I could ebay for a quick buck, but a dea'ls a deal. I like to restore, not destroy.

Way to go!  I bought 2 bikes in 1 night. 1982 KZ550 A3 with 4k miles, and a Honda CX500 Custom with Hondaline bags and fairing!

Too bad my garage can only hold 4 bikes. 2 are my fathers and the other 2 are mine.

We shouldn't have to say this, but SHOW US SOME PICS!!! :D :D :D :D ;D ;D ;D

Started to unpack the pickup load of parts last night. Some junk, but lots of 60s NOS parts, just about every thing I need for  the Benly S90. The NOS fenders are still in Honda wrappers, but have some shelf scratches. Anyone know of a match for "Honda silver"?
