Last ride
« on: March 13, 2008, 10:53:48 PM »
Took my last ride yesterday.  Not from bikes forever and not because I wrecked.  I sold my favorite toy.  Tough decision.  Still scratching my head trying to remember why I did it.

Anyway, here's a few of my last day pics (the reduced pics look like hell but you get the idea):

Came out pretty good and has been a really fun trip.  Put a lot of work into it over 1 1/2 year.  Ahhh well.  For my next project I'm hunting around for a CB400F or maybe a twin.  Not really sure yet, I still need to sell off my other project then I can get back to building another vintage Honda.

Wow!!! Nice bike! Came out very well! Im not sure I would have sold it.....

Can I ask where you bought the cool clear tubing for the carb overflow tubing? Im assuming its gas resistant :-)

cheers
Andy

I've never sold a bike I haven't regretted. But nice work and good luck with the next one.

Thanks for the compliments.

The clear tubes are from R/C aircraft fuel lines.  I never drain the bowls through the tubes so doesn't really matter if they're resistant.  They'll probably work but I just put them on for looks.

My VFR looks lonely.  I need to find another CB to keep it company.  This time, I'm going to change the leaky gasket the day I buy it, not the day I sell it.
